Back in 1993, I was introduced to PSB's version of "Go West" at class (Yamaha Music School) - which became one of the two most memorable songs I would have learnt during my tenure there. Last Friday, I had the opportunity to experience PSB first hand - a multimedia concert experience. The format diverted from the traditional rock / pop event, an experience one could expect being in a modern art exhibition of sorts with Neil and Chris at helm of course. The stage was organic with an evolving origami box that also served as a projection surface. The dancers were prime and the backup singers were fine. They touched a fair blend of new and old and played my favourite singles - Opportunities, Flamboyant, Go West, I'm With Stupid to name a few. I walked a way with a tour program - a fantastic read on the production of this tour. I'd recommend anyone to get to their shows at first chance given the scarcity of their schedule.
