It's been a long time since I have had breakfast like this, especially the Gemlik style olives. I was also introduced to honey and cream with bread. The small breakfast cafe I was in had free wi-fi, which seems to be somewhat common and available throughout the city. I was happy to get back in touch with the online world at this point. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank my friends in Turkey (Elcin, Elif, Emine, Murat & Aycan, Mehmet, and the guys at Pireli Tires) for making my trip enjoyable. In fact all Istanbulus (except the blasted cabbie who took me to the Sheraton).
